About SpainEase
SpainEase exists for the moment a long-held idea becomes a real decision: that you are going to spend this part of your life in Spain. We specialise in that move, and only in that move — the residency, the healthcare, the tax, the will and the house.
01Why SpainEase exists §
We started out planning to help anyone moving to Spain. Then we looked at who actually needed us, and it was not the thirty-year-old with a laptop — that person can read a blog and manage.
It was the couple in their sixties who had saved for this their whole working life, and who were about to sell a house and cross a border on the basis of a forum post. They had four real questions — healthcare, tax, inheritance, and whether the house was right — and almost nobody in this industry answers those before taking the money.
So we specialised. We do retirement to Spain, and we do the four questions first.
The second thing we noticed is that almost nobody in this sector will tell you what they cannot do. Every website promises to “handle everything”, and then you discover that appointment dates and application decisions were never theirs to give. We decided to put that on the front page instead of in the small print.
02How SpainEase works §
- One coordinator per case. Not a ticket queue. A person whose name you know and who knows your file.
- Coordination is ours, regulated work is theirs. Immigration applications, tax advice and property transactions go to qualified professionals, named to you.
- Published prices. You should be able to compare before you talk to a salesperson.
- No hidden commissions. If a recommendation earns us anything, you hear it first.
- Straight answers, including “not yet” and “you do not need us”. We have told people to postpone a move for health reasons and refunded the review. We would rather do that than take the fee.
03Where SpainEase is based §
We are based on the Costa Blanca — Jávea, Dénia, Moraira, Altea, Calpe. This stretch of coast has been the retirement capital of northern Europe for fifty years, which means English-speaking specialists, hospitals used to international patients, and neighbours who did this a decade ago. It also means a great many people selling to newcomers.
The paperwork side we handle anywhere in Spain. But we would rather be genuinely excellent in one region than adequate everywhere, so when we say we know a place, we mean it.
04What SpainEase is not §
We are not a law firm, a tax practice or an estate agency. We do not give legal or tax advice, and nothing on this website is either.
We do not guarantee visa approvals, appointment dates or processing times, because those belong to the Spanish authorities. What we guarantee is that when a slot opens, your file will be complete — and that you will never be the one waiting on us.
