How we charge

No commission we have not told you about. Not from insurers, not from banks, not from estate agents or developers. It is the only way we can advise you not to buy something.

Fixed price before you start. The feasibility review tells us what your case needs. You get a written figure, and it does not move unless your circumstances do.

We will tell you if you do not need us. Some cases are genuinely straightforward, particularly for EU pensioners already here. Saying so costs us a sale and earns us the referral.

And if we think you should not move — because of health, or timing, or tax — we say that, and refund the review.

§ 04

The cost of retiring to Spain: common questions§

Why are you more expensive than the NIE shops?

Because a NIE is not what you are buying. Anyone can submit a form. What costs money is a tax adviser modelling your pensions before you sell a house, a lawyer drafting a will that protects your spouse, and a buyer’s adviser telling you to walk away from a villa.

If you genuinely only need a NIE, buy a NIE from someone cheap. We will tell you so.

Is the free check really free?

Yes, permanently. It costs us nothing and it filters out the cases we cannot help. The paid feasibility review, where a person reads your actual documents and a lawyer confirms the route, is credited in full against any package.

Per person or per household?

Paperwork is per person, because the administration charges per person. Coordination, property and estate work are per household. We show the split before you commit.

Can we spread the payments?

Yes — a deposit to start and the balance at agreed milestones, so you are never far ahead of the work delivered.
